September 18th through September 24th

September 18th through September 24thTuesday evening Elder and Sister Call arrived from Rabinal.  They spent the evening with us in the temple.  On Wednesday we had our presidency meeting and then went to lunch at Applebees with the Calls.  Elder Call ordered my favorite hamburger, the Cowboy burger, only he had them put a fried egg on it.
Elder Call is a happy camper.  You can't buy one of these in Rabinal.
We played some games that evening with the Calls.  Saturday after the temple closed for the Women’s Conference, all the sisters came over to our house to watch the conference and the men all went to Estancia for a steak dinner.  We figured if the women were not going to cook for us we were going to at least have a good meal.
Some of the sisters had already headed home when we took this picture: L to R Sister Gordon, mom, Sister George, mental health advisor, Sister Dennis, MTC nurse, Sister Holman, and Sister Winkfield.
Dinner at Estancia.  L to R  Elder Holman, Elder Jenson, Elder Fisher, Brother Reyna, Brother Gordon, Elder Winkfield and me.
Sunday after church we had our quarterly coordinators training meeting.  I did all the training and after two hours I was tired.  We talked to most of the kids and went to bed thankful for another great week here in beautiful Guatemala.  We are excited that the Ellington’s will be joining us in a week on the 3rd of October.  We are looking forward to watching general conference next weekend.  That is always a big shot in the arm and increases our faith and testimony.
